Firmware Update for Your RETeval manual y portátil,

To download the firmware update 2.13.7 for the RETeval® device, fill out the form below. When downloaded, you can install the new firmware by following the instructions on this page.

Installation Instructions

  1. Place your RETeval device into the docking station and connect the docking station to your computer using the provided USB cable. If prompted, allow the device to appear as an external drive on the computer.
  2. Using your computer, fill out the form on this page to download the firmware update.
  3. Copy the downloaded file to the “Firmware” directory folder on the RETeval.
  4. Eject the RETeval device drive from your computer and remove the device from the docking station.
  5. On the device, navigate to “Settings” in the main menu, then “System,” then “Update firmware.” If “Update firmware” is not visible, go back to the “Settings” page, wait 20 seconds and try again. The device performs self-checks when first turned on, and the “Update firmware” button is hidden until those self-checks are complete. Select the firmware version to start the update process.

Detailed instructions to update your firmware can also be found in the RETeval device user manual. This manual is available in the LKC Centro de Recursos para Clientes as well as in the root directory of the RETeval device when docked and connected to your computer.

What's New in This Release?

  • Removed color-coding of PhNR reports to reduce confusion between reference limits and clinical decision limits. Color coding can be turned back on via the Settings menu.
