In this session, faculty will share real-world cases to demonstrate how electroretinography (ERG) brings clarity to clinical decision-making, sharing how ERG can help identify disease, evaluate progression risk, and guide timely referrals.

Attendees will also learn practical tips for integrating ERG into everyday practice, covering interpretation, workflow, and reimbursement, and will leave this session with the confidence to make data-driven decisions that support stronger patient communication and better long-term outcomes.

Pathology Navigator: Harnessing the Full Potential of ERG

Modern retina care requires a clear understanding of retinal function. In this session, faculty will demonstrate how electroretinography (ERG) helps clinicians navigate diagnostic uncertainty in patients with unexplained vision loss, inherited retinal disease, glaucoma, and more.

Real-world examples will demonstrate how to use ERG to classify and confirm pathology, uncover functional changes and clues, and guide next steps in care, including collaboration with retina specialists.

By the end of this course, participants will understand how functional testing can transform clinical decision-making, enhance long-term management, and elevate patient care.
