My RETeval Experience – James Soque, Chief of Imaging

Mr. Soque is a Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA), Certified OCT technician (OCT-C)and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA). He assists in retinal surgery and serves on the Board of Education for the Ophthalmic Photographers’ Society and is involved in lecturing on the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). He performs Fluorescein and ICG angiography, B-scans, Optomaps and OCTs and is certified as a digital imaging specialist for the Fundus Photography Reading Center Wisconsin (FPRC-WI), and the Digital Angiography Reading Center of New York (DARC), and the Duke Reading Center.

In this video, Jim Soque, Chief of Imaging at Island Retina discusses how easy it was to implement the RETeval® device into their practice. He also describes the process a patient goes through, his experience operating the device and the type of test (protocol) he administers to the patients.

“You can easily incorporate the RETeval device into the office and transport it between offices. This is non-dilated testing and takes only 55 seconds per eye and the results you obtain are incredibly useful.”
