Resources for your RETeval
As a RETeval® user, you understand the value of functional assessments – and we’re here to help you make the most of it. The resources below will help you successfully implement ERG testing into your clinic.
Stock up on Sensor Strips
Sensor Strips and RETeval accessories are available for purchase through the LKC Store. Our adhesive skin electrodes are available in regular and small sizes. The single strip design reduces placement variability, creating an efficient test set-up experience to generate consistent results.
Firmware updates
Is Your RETeval Updated with the Latest Features?
Much like updates for your mobile phone, the engineering team at LKC Technologies has released multiple software updates for the RETeval since the device was introduced. These updates improve the overall functionality of your device in addition to introducing new reference data, reporting features, and even new testing protocols. Whether you’ve missed the first firmware update, the last, or any in between, you can simply download the most recent release to ensure that your device is up to date.

Coding and Reimbursement Guides
There are more than 600 ICD-10-CM codes that may be associated with the CPT codes used to report electroretinography and visual-evoked potential. The following guides, developed by The Pinnacle Health Group, provide some of the more common ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes that may be used for protocols associated with the RETeval handheld device.
The above guides focus on Physician Office Coding and Reimbursement. For Hospital Outpatient guides, please contact us here.

We invite you to join us for the RETeval User Group, a peer-to-peer conversation led by Nate Lighthizer, OD, FAAO. This program provides an opportunity for you to talk to other eye care providers – both experienced ERG veterans and those newer to functional testing – to help you further your knowledge and continue to provide a better standard of care to your patients.
Modern Fundamentals of Diabetic Retinopathy Management in Optometry
A team of 14 optometrists set out to simplify and standardize diabetic retinopathy (DR) assessment and management by developing a set of practical guidelines for their peers. Their collaboration presents a framework to improve the diagnosis and management of DR to support improved patient outcomes and allow primary eye care providers to confidently care for the growing population of patients with diabetes.
